I had my wisdom teeth out which would be 2 weeks ago tomorrow. Is it okay to eat spicy foods now? Nachos? I don't have as much pain as I use to. I'm only taking Advil if needed. Wlad does have a gl chin, as does Khan. Both were evidenced in the ring. My horse anticipates the canter. any tips?

i have a standardbred mare that im having a little trouble with. when i ask her to canter shes good but if i want to go back to a trot she does but then in the corners she goes back into it. so ive been stopping her and backing her up and continuing with my routine. circles are a little hard in my arena because she can bend perfectly so she just drifts even with an outside rein + leg. also, if i gather my reins up she anticipates either the trot or canter and starts to like jig around so i go back to stop her but sec later shes back at jigging again. i have lunged her before and it doesnt work. she doesnt get any high energy food i would just like her to wait for me to ask her to canter rather than having her jug around for 10min. any tips?

Help with the right adhesive for a awesome art project?

Elmer's white glue all is a good one to use for this project. Don't use much, and smear it with your finger before putting onto the cardboard surface. Then take a old towel or something like that, cover it then smooth it out. You need to be easy on it or it will move around. Then let it dry for a few days. Then you can cover it with a clear varnish. Go to the local hardware store, not Home Depot or Lowes, and ask them for the best stuff to use. It will work fine as long any you don't use much glue, and if you smear it around.

Help with a nervous horse...?

I sometimes have the same situation. I work at a farm that has a lot of horses like this. They aren't my horses, but I work around them and want them to trust me. Sense you clean his field and he feels more comfortable out there, start there. When you're out cleaning, talk to him and see if you can get his attention. I'm sure thats easy to do because if he's nervous, he's observing you closely. Eventually you could get to the point where you go and pet him for a little while when you come and clean the field. Once he's completely used to that and it's no big deal, he should be better when you go in his stall and you could start doing the same thing in there.

Well you have narrowed it down to washing walls and washing furniture/dressers/nightstands etc. You also might want to check to see if the stale smell is coming from a heating vent/duct. If you have forced air, your duct work might need cleaning or freshening. If this is it, you might want to get scented filters to fit into them to use till summer when you can have them cleaned. Why is my knee making a nasty crunching noise.?

While you may have inherited the family tendency to wear out knee joints, like as not it's more because you were born to a very physically active family who participates in things that are simply hard on the knees. In other words, it may not be a genetic problem, but an activity problem. Yes, all those activities you mention are hard on knees. Chondromalasia patella means you are wearing out the cartilage pad that lies between the kneecap and the bones of your leg. You are wearing out your shock absorber, that's what you are doing. Surgical realignment of the bones may help for a while, but it's not going to let you keep pounding your knees with abandon- if that's what you were hoping. And when you do finish wearing out the padding, the options will be to replace the knee or suffer. They haven't come up with a replacement shock absorber yet, they can't really repair it permanently, and those knee replacements are not exactly like the ones nature provided you. At this point, you should return to see the doctor. And you should give consideration to changing some of your sports activities to those more knee friendly kinds. You may still be able to play hockey, at least the friendly sort of match- but not competitively. At 14, that might sound harsh but as you pointed out, you only have one set of knees. Wearing them out this young means a long life of knee troubles, and there could end up being a lot more limitations than just not playing hockey or track. Just because you inherited the weak family knees does not mean you have to join the family collection of knee scars and troubles. It just means you will need to make some hard choices perhaps.

He'll wrap it in a blanket and carry it around. He'll put it over his shoulder and burp it. He'll pat it's bottom and say 'shh'. And he'll put his bear to my for me to feed it (he just did that one a minute ago).

Flooring wet under toilet in bathroom?

I am trying to figure out a way to help my mother, she had purchased a 35 year old mobile home and in the back bathroom , she had noticed carpet was wet around the toilet, so I pulled up the toilet and carpet(why anyone would put carpet around toilet is a good question) and noticed that there were wedges of wood under toilet (probably due to fact that the floor had gotten wet and had warped) also I noticed that there is alot of wax , I would guess, this is for extra sealing or trying to take up for warpage, not really sure, I do know one thing , I would like to try and fix this myself, due to fact its hard to find someone that can do a job without overpricing it, I was wondering if I need to change the whole sub floor and would I need to replace or remove drain for the toilet? TOASTMASTERS/I suck at talking, need suggestions!!?

Hello, all. Essentially, the title says it all. I trip over words, don't think very well on the spot, it takes forever for me to explain things/give directions, and basically, I suck at talking. (The irony is that I'm perfectly competent, articulate, literate and succinct with a pen and paper, but that's beside the point...). Anyway, I have an INSANE desire to improve my speech. I just found out about something called the Toastmaster's club, but it looks to be tagreted toward a target market that I don't think that I would fit into (I'm 20, the people on the website look...well, not 20). Does anyone know of anything similar, but for people my age? Honestly, I'm at my wit's end. I hate looking/feeling like a moron when I speak, and I really don't know what to do. I've bought a few self-help books and taken a (rather pointless) public speaking course at my college, but that's it. My goals are to be more confident when I speak, not babble so much, not deviate from the subject at hand, and to have more verbal fluidity. if anyone has any suggestions for me, that would be great!

For about a year now, I started becoming really pessimistic about things for no reason. I'm currently a college student, and occasionally I would be motivated to look forward to graduation. Which fuel pump should I use?

I have a 1996 Chevy Silverado PU that hasV8 vortec engine in it that will not start, we have pinpointed that it is the fuel pump, my problem is that the VIN shows the truck should have a V6 in it and the motor is a Vortec V8 (the perils of buying from honest car salesmen). Anyway, I am not sure which fuel pump. Technically, it should be the V6 pump in the tank, but, when a motor is changed is a fuel pump change part of a new motor? I know I am swatting at flies with this, but wanted to run it by the community before I had to take the bed off of the truck. (the gas tank is full, so taking the bed off probably the least difficult route). The two pumps are completely different, and the prices reflect that. v6 about $50, v8 about $240. About a month ago I bought a little pet rat and she has started acting very peculiar. She has started hoping along instead of the typical scurrying, and she sometimes seems disoriented. She has lately started chewing the bars of her cage, but not in the gnaw it down way. She's still very friendly but has been acting weird. She will occasionally wobble back and forth when sitting still, as well. She also seems to have a tick every now and again while she's wobbling. College questions: Please Help?

I started college in January. Bear in mind that I graduated from high school twenty years ago, but college is definitely different. You are on your own in college. You have to take the initiative if you need tutoring or help. Nobody's going to make you go to cl or do your homework, so the onus is on you to get it done. I don't like the cafeteria food, so I do all my own cooking. Besides, eating out is expensive. Some of your cles will require you to work in groups, something that I have never really cared for. The online cles are great for certain topics but not so wonderful for others. As far as fun goes, I have an average of six hours of homework a night and a family to take care of, so I really don't have a lot of time for fun stuff. However, the drama dept. does put on a play evey quarter, and sometimes the school has live music, guest speakers, and other events to attend.

A snitch away from suicide?

Over the last little while I have suffered from depression. I can't seem t fit in with my friends, as in I can't get involved with conversations and get attention from them. Bad move for Ochoa if he were to go to Everton: Tim Howard is a fine, fine GK, remember not so long ago he won GK of the Year in the EPL with Man United. Howard will not retire for a long time, Ochoa will be relegated to backup, and a good GK like Ochoa needs all the playing time he can get...I wonder does Ochoa speak English? I would think he would need to in order to be GK on an EPL team. GK's need to be vocal and have good communication skills. Maybe he could play in La Liga if he doesn't speak English???

Why does China's internet censorship frustrate foreigners?

Most Chinese do not know what is on the other side of the wall. By the wall I am talking about life in Europe and any and all of the other educated countries. This censorship you talk of is one way the government of China controls information. I do not know if you have ever heard the statement, Knowledge is power, information is knowledge. The more the government keeps from the people in China the easier it is to control these same people. I find it hard to believe so many Chinese buy into the censorship is to block . There is everywhere you go in China. Every flea market every sidewalk business everywhere you can buy . Censorship has nothing to do with , it is to keep as much information from the Chinese people as they can. When I am in China sometimes after(or during) a meal my wife and her family will sit and we talk about life outside China. I do not tell them how great it is, I do tell them how I live and how my wife will live when the US decides to let us have a visa. What they hear from me is new to them and the things I send there are new. They have not ever gotten information that told them how Americans really live. They have heard reports of the way Americans live but these were almost funny to me when they told me. The censorship is not about , so what do you think it is about? Information, everybody should have the right to educate themselves as much as they want. With education comes the ability to make better decisions. Tell me a good reason why any government would want to keep their people uneducated or uninformed. Who benefits from the people not being informed? Other than the government in charge? The Chinese people do not even get the information about what their government does to the Chinese people. When 6 or 8 nations send diplomats to China to talk about what the Chinese government has done and the Chinese government meets with them for several days, this shows something is going on. Everybody in the world reads about the meetings, except the people in China. Chinese people only read how great the world thinks they are. They read how everything they do is great. Where I live I read about the stupid things the US government does and how countries hate us for some reason or another. I get to read what we do right and what we do wrong. People who live with censorship do not get the same information about their country as I do about mine.

vonage was a horrible experience. our phone cut out constantly, we had dropped calls, and crackles, noise, plus it was actually long distance to call across the street. people in our town couldnt call us if they didnt have long distance service. it was awful. we finally just used out cell phones for everything. we tried to cancel the service with 2 months left because their service was so bad, but they refused to let us out of the contract even tho it was THEIR fault. so, they continue to draft my chking acct even tho i have moved and dont have a home line. its been a mess and isnt worth the stress and bad service

White spot on back of sore throat. Infection or by-product of allergies?

I have had a sore throat for the past day or two. I have no tonsils so I guess I would have pharyngitis instead of tonsillitis. The throat appears red and agitated. I have slightly swollen lymph nodes on the left side (my left, and the worse side) and it hurts a little to swallow. Now a white spot has shown up as well. The odd thing is I feel just fine, no other symptoms whatsoever. Ok this is gonna sound very VERY weird but i need opinions. Ok so i have been dating this girl for like 4 months and everything thing seemed fine with her i really like her and she is really cute, but lately she has been very creepy.
