FIRST - relax!!! You will lie down in a dimly lighted rom, and a qualified technician will talk you right through the procedure. You can actually watch the screen and see images of your insides! This will keep you so intrigued, that you will be finished and on your way home, before you realize it. There is NO pain involved. You've had more pain, with the symptoms that you've described, than can possibly occur, during a simple l ultrasound. The probe is very slender - comparable to a tampon. Please, have an adult - your mum or an older sis, perhaps-take you and even stay in the room with you, if you'd feel more comfortable. You'll be absolutely fine, sweetie! Be well.
