TOASTMASTERS/I suck at talking, need suggestions!!?

Hello, all. Essentially, the title says it all. I trip over words, don't think very well on the spot, it takes forever for me to explain things/give directions, and basically, I suck at talking. (The irony is that I'm perfectly competent, articulate, literate and succinct with a pen and paper, but that's beside the point...). Anyway, I have an INSANE desire to improve my speech. I just found out about something called the Toastmaster's club, but it looks to be tagreted toward a target market that I don't think that I would fit into (I'm 20, the people on the website look...well, not 20). Does anyone know of anything similar, but for people my age? Honestly, I'm at my wit's end. I hate looking/feeling like a moron when I speak, and I really don't know what to do. I've bought a few self-help books and taken a (rather pointless) public speaking course at my college, but that's it. My goals are to be more confident when I speak, not babble so much, not deviate from the subject at hand, and to have more verbal fluidity. if anyone has any suggestions for me, that would be great!
