Windows Media Player Will Open, But Won't Show Up on My Screen?

I had a similar problem before, I did not uninstall the program. Instead I restored my notebook to an earlier date and started over from that point. It worked for my situation and has been fine since, (close to a year) Just make sure you back up any new files you will loose doing this, and the same for any other updates. Good luck.
