Do you think romantic love is irrational?

I think romantic love is superstition, irrational and destructive. Unlike genuine compion which is based on unconditional acceptance and a selfless giving to all others, romance is conditional acceptance. Being in love romantically is like being and alcoholic or a heroin addict and like any addiction it makes you behave irrationally and destructively.
