DID I dpi the right thing?

there was a guy onhere yesterday you said he was 22 named chris and seriously wasted to kill himself! I gevae him my email and we talked for a really long time ( like 3 hours ) .I didn't have a pic to show him on my iPod so I told him my first and last name to look up on facecebook! He couldn't see any info but only my pic. Then he let my see his but since he didn't have a profile pic he wanted me to accept the invite but I didn't want to. Finally after like30 min I did but planned on deleting him asap. Turns out he was never wanting to killl himself, 19 and his name was joe!!! I yelled at him on msn but he was already offlie! I removed him as a Friend abd toold him to remove me from msn! I got played just so me vould see my pic and im scared. He seemed the niceest man in the world...sort of likely dad before he walked out on us!! I just wanted a guy to talk to, did I do the right thing for deleting him?? He did say be was sorry!
