Idk....i don't care but i still feel bad thou? plz help?

there is a kid in school sent me a flirting text; I don't want that though from him; ergo, i ignored his text. and since then he nvr talked to me nor text me! to be honest i don't care about this kid, but he did me a favor once, so i feel bad now. should i go up to him and say hi, or should i ignore?
