Question for s that prefer to date the butch type?

I'm a and my wife and I are equally feminine. We don't HATE butch women(lots of our closest friends are butch) but we never understood the point in dating them. We feel as though we might as well date men. But we're not attracted to men and I'm sorry but a woman who looks and acts like a man is no more desirable to me than the "real thing". Anyway, other s and biual women who date butches told us that they are "still women underneath the clothes". Okay. I'm fully aware of that. But that sounds to me that they are just going for the and . I love the female anatomy, but there is more to a woman that draws me to them than their body parts. So, you may think I'm close-minded, but aren't you being shallow? Isn't there more to dating anyone(male or female)(gay or straight)(black or white) than what they look like naked? I don't get it.
