College questions: Please Help?

I started college in January. Bear in mind that I graduated from high school twenty years ago, but college is definitely different. You are on your own in college. You have to take the initiative if you need tutoring or help. Nobody's going to make you go to cl or do your homework, so the onus is on you to get it done. I don't like the cafeteria food, so I do all my own cooking. Besides, eating out is expensive. Some of your cles will require you to work in groups, something that I have never really cared for. The online cles are great for certain topics but not so wonderful for others. As far as fun goes, I have an average of six hours of homework a night and a family to take care of, so I really don't have a lot of time for fun stuff. However, the drama dept. does put on a play evey quarter, and sometimes the school has live music, guest speakers, and other events to attend.
