Should Star Trek be resurrected as a television series?

Star trek is ok but i must say that it can be very boring at times, there is never enough combat in it, it always feels like a morality lesson, telling you how you should think, rather than just letting the story go on naturally, i just watched DS9 and kira is like 90 lbs ringing wet, and she squares up to 290 lbs guys and wins, nonsense, but i think thats star trek in a nutshell that being, nonsense, the only way i would like to see it back is if they made it real rather than a story of how the good guys always win.
